The Inaugural Showcase · The Western Australian Golf Club

13 Cards. Four Suits. Two Champions.

For twenty-six weeks, members of The Western Australian Golf Club play Aces High through four suits of 13 cards. There’s no new competition to enter and no fee — players keep posting their normal WAGC rounds, with only their best 13 scoring rounds counting. Aces High gives those rounds something more to play for: the Ace of Aces, and their suit’s claim to the Champion Suit — the Supreme Suit.

Aces High overview

A competition platform built from the deck up.

The 52-card structure gives Aces High a clear sporting identity. At WAGC the 52 members are split across four suits of thirteen — Spades, Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs — so the card becomes the competitor’s identity and the suit becomes the team. Card Holders compete across their normal WAGC rounds, move through the standings and chase qualification for the Final 26 — for themselves and for their suit.

How the deck works

The card is your identity.
The suit is your club’s.

One deck. Fifty-two identities. Everything on the leaderboard traces back to a single card.

  • A standard deck creates the core identity system for the property.

  • Each Card Holder selects a card, which is then confirmed as their identity.

  • At WAGC the fifty-two members form four suits of thirteen Card Holders.

  • Performance moves Card Holders through the standings across the Showcase.

  • Every card earned counts toward both the Ace of Aces and the Champion Suit — the Supreme Suit.

  • The Final 26 completes the Showcase and crowns both champions.

  1. 01

    Select your card

One of only fifty-two. You choose your card and suit; it is then confirmed, and if taken you are offered another.

  2. 02

    Play an eligible round

Post your normal WAGC competition rounds through the Showcase — no separate competition to enter.

  3. 03

    Submit a verified result

Only verified scores move the deck — every card is earned, never given.

  4. 04

    Earn or lose cards

Strong rounds win cards. Poor rounds cost them. There are no dead weeks.

  5. 05

    Climb the standings

Watch your card rise through the individual leaderboard, round by round.

  6. 06

    Add cards to your suit

Every card you win also lifts your suit’s claim to the Champion Suit — the Supreme Suit.

  7. 07

    Reach the Final 26

The top twenty-six Card Holders carry their total into The Showdown.

  8. ♠

    Contest the Ace of Aces

One final round. One champion — and immortality within the deck.
